Hospital Insurance

With the rising cost of health care, one trip to the hospital could cause a serious financial setback. Hospital Insurance can help your employees manage the expenses health insurance may not cover — like deductibles, co-pays and the costs of missing work.

Hospitalizations put finances at risk

Staying in the hospital after child delivery, an accident or an illness can be costly. Even quality medical plans can leave employees with extra expenses they didn’t count on. These can add up fast — and most Americans aren’t prepared.

  • Depending on the city, state and hospital, the cost of a C-section can be upwards of $30,000
  • About 66% of Americans report they are concerned they won’t be able to afford medical care this year1

Help shield your employees from the unexpected costs of a hospitalization

Hospital visits can cost employees a lot of money — even if they have good medical coverage. Hospital Insurance can provide supplemental coverage to your major medical plan by offering a lump-sum benefit that helps employees pay these bills. It’s a valuable solution for recruiting talented people while keeping your costs in check.

Choose the plan design and benefit amounts that make sense for your employees. All plans include benefits for hospital admission.

Ease and cost savings for you

  • Single situs state allows for easy implementation and consistent benefit communication messaging across all your locations.
  • The coverage can be HSA-compatible.
  • Annual wellness benefit encourages responsible health management.3
