The New Content component is used to build content in pages. A content module enables easy inclusion of an image, headline, subhead, content, and two calls to action – primary and secondary.

When to use this component: This component can be used in a variety of ways. Common use cases include paragraphs of copy, singular headlines, image placeholders with no copy, and callouts.The component has built in flexibilities and allows the content author to quickly align content and images in a variety of ways. Make sure to use an image that is already sized appropriately to the design. There is no code mechanism for handling image sizing.

Image Position:

The image can be aligned in the following ways:

• Top (default)
• Left
• Right

Flex to Image checkbox:

Check this to allow the NCC to flex to the width of the image

Align Content:

The content can be center aligned. It is left aligned by default.

Note: The component will split content and an image/video 50/50 within a container if placed side by side by default. If you need to use a smaller image/video paired with copy, use the “Flex to Image” in Control Properties.

Decoration:

There are two decoration properties for the New Content component:

Grid

This will display the NCC in a grid style layout

This layout does not support embedded videos due to aspect ratio constraints.

Optional Video Styling

Rounded corners and drop shadow are included as available enhancements to an embedded video.
